Kantalapai. 2016

"Kantalapay" is a name of the Kazakh children's dice gameon speed and dexterity: who wouldfaster pick up morebones (asyk), scattered on the floor. The story of this artwork talks about traditional custom of the Kazakhs: in the past, any rich man (bay) should have given a portion of his annual income tohis poorer tribe people. Knowing that the crowd psychology is predictable, no different from the behavior of animals in a flock, a leader-manipulator dices money like bones and chaosbegins among people, everyone behaves like "all", downgraded to a level of "a man of crowd". A leader, who thinks about welfare of his tribe, would take care the money would be handed to people  in an organized manner.
